Beautiful hotel and an amazing stay overall. The only minor issue I had was that the shower tended to run very hot, but everything else was excellent. Definitely worth it if you're visiting San Jose—the location is fantastic, with plenty of great restaurants, shops, and attractions just steps away.

Renovations are now underway at the hotel and should be completed in a few months. Even though the hotel restaurant was closed, I was easily able to find other restaurants and markets nearby. The lodging was comfortable and satisfied my needs. The staff is outstanding. When I had questions regarding the hotel and wanted to learn more about the downtown area, Mayra, Siya, and Joseph were very helpful.

Not the IHG experience I expected. Wish I paid closer attention to the poor reviews on Google. Booked through our company Concur portal. Got in 11:33pm from a cross country flight and was told water would be shut off the entire building from 10pm to 3am--can't even flush the toilets. Couldn't find another hotel available. They only offered extra water bottles and a full refund if I found somewhere else to stay. The decor is really meh, vibe is more like outdated holiday inn. Elevator is sketchy feeling. Place doesn't give off what is advertised. Would not stay again. Bed also is probably about as comfortable as a La Quinta. And I paid extra for the "kitchenette" which is literally just an extra sink. There's a mini fridge, no microwave. At least it's clean. Really needs some paint touchups and things like that. I wanted to cry when I swiped my card to just have a place to try and sleep. But honestly I'm tired wired so I'll be waiting until 3am for that water to come on.

The hotel is very quiet. However sometimes the city is not. In my room, I can hear loud vehicles and Emergency Services. Also looking out the window I can see and hear airplanes flying overhead. Not thousands of feet up in the sky but looking like they're just barely clearing the buildings. I prefer a soft bed in this bed rock hard. The bathroom was humongous. Ample room to get ready. I like the valet parking also because it wasn't a busy hotel and I was the only person doing. valet on a Friday night which made it very easy. The only downside was my room smelled like back in the day it was a cigarette smoking room and perhaps the carpet got wet and didn't drive properly. Once I ran the AC for several hours the smell went away sort of. Despite that, I would stay here again.

This is a very solid hotel option if you’re staying in downtown San Jose. Great access to the local sports Arena as well as downtown tech offices. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. Located very conveniently next to San Pedro Square with lots of restaurant options.

Apparently IHG status doesn’t matter at some IHG hotels - have diamond elite through Chase sapphire and it was never mentioned at check in and I received zero perks from it. For the second highest IHG status. Also, multiple parts of hotel were under renovation. I don’t think this was the case when I booked. Should be offered some discount when this happens. Feels closer to 3.5 stars than 4. Room was spacious and with large bathroom but all furniture was dinged up and old. Lastly, $47 valet parking is a scam. Just park on the street for $2 an hour. Even doing it all day from 9-6 is only $18 total.
