Visitors often praise the hotel's great and convenient location, friendly staff, and clean shared bathrooms, with some finding it good value for money. However, common complaints include disappointing and sometimes broken rooms, issues with check-in after hours, and unexpected cleaning fees. I have read some comments about noise, i think it really depends on the other people as some nights were very calm, 1/4 was a litlle bit noisy, but not a noise that will keep you awake or wake you up. 100% would recommand. For the washing machine service you have to wait till 4pm so you can use it. (4-9pm only) thats the only bad thing

Great location, however hotel and rooms were incredibly disappointing. We were late arriving due to a delayed flight and when we called to ask about how to check in after hours they simply told us the hotel was closed by 11:30pm. We had to argue that we should be provided our room still. We received an after hours way to access our room key. The room was incredibly disappointing. It was not clean and so warm. You have to sleep with the windows open and it is INCREDIBLY loud. We had such a poor experience it was not a good way to start our vacation.

They actually provide earplugs along with bar soap! I thought that was odd and it scared me a little bit but the place is in a pretty quiet area/neighborhood and I never needed them. The rooms are pretty spare but that’s all you expect at this price point. It’s a no-frills place. There is a women’s and men’s bathroom in the hall with two showers and two toilet stalls in each. There’s also a Very large private bathroom and shower at the end of the hall. The place is very clean and the people are really nice. The Peruvian food at the OP Café is absolutely awesome…

We stayed one night at Ocean Park Hotel and were later charged a $30 cleaning fee for alleged red stains on sheets and towels. The manager sent a photo, but we did not cause those stains and did not leave the room in that condition. We checked the room before we left. I showered, and my daughter showered. My mother did not shower. Stains like the ones shown in the photo would have been obvious. When we disputed the charge, the manager Anthony did not provide a clear complaint process, inspection time, or documentation tying the photo to our room immediately after checkout. The only process appeared to be speaking with the same manager who was accusing us. Near the end of the call, he said he had recorded the entire call, although he had not disclosed that at the beginning and my mother did not consent. He also laughed during parts of the call while she was upset. This is not about $30. It is about being accused of damaging a room and lying about it afterward when we did not do that. The handling of the complaint felt dismissive, intimidating, and unprofessional.

Great location, felt very safe and had friendly staff. Small rooms, had a shared bathroom which was very clean! only downside is there aren’t plugs by the bed. Great value for money so definitely recommend!!
