1/5 – Wrong Room, No Staff, Multiple Issues Booked a loft for a romantic getaway and arrived to find I had been placed in a 2-bedroom unit without any prior notice or consent. I specifically chose and paid for the loft — had someone contacted me beforehand, I would have rebooked elsewhere. Instead, I found out at check-in with no recourse. The problems didn’t stop there. The door wouldn’t open when we arrived, and we were left standing outside for several minutes because there is no staff on property to assist. When we finally got in, the shower had other guests’ hair in it — not the welcome you expect after a long trip. The electric coffee maker also didn’t function. When I raised these issues, management offered a $125 future stay credit — useless to me since I have no plans to return to Savannah. A partial refund for a night where I didn’t receive what I paid for is the reasonable resolution here, and they declined. Avoid if you’re planning anything special. You will not get the room you booked, no one will be there if something goes wrong, and the property will not make it right.

Super comfortable a very quiet stay. In the middle of the district so everything is reachable for itinerary things. Tamara the cleaning lady was so Awesome and made everything very comfortable upon visit and exit

We had an excellent time. The apartment was spacious, very clean, excellent location. Check in and check out was super easy. I highly recommend this place . The appliances were in excellent condition and the kitchen had everything that's needed for a comfortable stay. Bathrooms super clean, showers were very comfortable. Thank you to The Grant staff for running the business so well!

Overall, a good stay! Would recommend and will stay again. (With noise-canceling headphones.) A few thoughts: Noise — Look, I did my due diligence and read the reviews. I knew what I was signing up for, like a glutton for punishment who still orders the spicy wings. The building has all the soundproofing of a paper towel tube. They can’t control the garbage trucks that sounded like they were trying to parallel park inside my bedroom at 6 a.m., but the upstairs neighbors? They were clearly rehearsing for Riverdance: The Reckoning. I now know what competitive Irish step dancing sounds like at 2 a.m. Consider this your ancient-building warning label. Comfort — The place was clean and surprisingly spacious. It had the basic amenities covered and we used the kitchen several times. I loved the decor and the industrial chic feel. Personally (and I’m only speaking for myself here), I would have loved a shelf in the shower so my shampoo didn’t have to live on the floor like a college freshman, and maybe a magnifying mirror so I could properly examine my life choices while getting ready. The remote’s battery was on its deathbed, wheezing its last breaths every time I changed the channel. And the ceiling fan? Let’s just say it had commitment issues — one second it’s a gentle breeze, the next it’s doing the helicopter impression from Apocalypse Now. I wasn’t sure if I should call an electrician or break out a Ouija board. I ultimately decided they were probably trying to reach me about my car’s extended warranty and left to explore the city instead. You really can’t beat the location!!!! Appliances — The washing machine sounded like a jalopy on its deathbed, rattling and clunking as if it was one spin cycle away from ascending to appliance heaven. Not sure if it needed a better agitator or a full exorcism — I half expected it to start speaking in tongues midway through the load. (The fridge and oven were problem-free though, so maybe not fully haunted?) There are many ghost tours within walking distance if you want to experience additional paranormal activity. Again - LOCATION!!! Bottom line: Give this place a try. If you're doing Savannah right, you'll be too exhausted to notice the small bumps anyway.

The Grant was a great find. The Main Street was a little noisy but the sleeping quarters were well away from the noise. You are smack in the middle of the historic district and River Street which keeps you able to walk the whole city. Had a great stay.

Loved staying at The Grant! Perfect location in the center of downtown, beautiful, charming rooms with tons of space and everything was within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

A must stay! Contemporary meets old architectural. It was an amazing stay and everything right there at your doorsteps. Book it you won't regret it!

The most beautiful stay I ever had in Savannah way better than the most expensive hotels

Great little place in the heart of it all. Quiet for being in a busy area, extremely clean with plenty of space. If I visit Savannah again, I will only be booking here.
