I pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, beds and pillows were absolutely awful. Tried to talk to staff to see if they was anything we could do to actually be comfortable and not wake up aching, weren’t much help and didn’t seem to care. Had an issue with parking ( have to pay nightly) and staff didn’t really care we had paid but had nowhere to park, should look into numbering or assigning spots to make that process a little better.

Very disappointed with this trip. 2 years ago we stayed here and it was beautiful and so clean the rooms. This weekend we stayed here and there were so many bugs in the room (spiders and silverfish). We all have sore throats now, I’m worried the sheets weren’t changed and the previous people were sick. Very disappointing since my children loved the aesthetic last time. Not sure it’s worth going back.

This is a great vintage Motor Inn. You can Walk to Anywhere in Savannah Historic District. It has the great 50s and 60s dynamic. This place is Vintage and Historic. So live and let live. Expect that. Nothing is perfect. It's very clean, no nasty carpet. Everything is hard surfaces that means germ free. I'm OCD, and a germ freak, so I love that. Park and go in your room. No parking deck elevators or garages. Get in your car and go when ready. Parking is $25 for 24hrs. Other hotels are 40+. Its a very busy area, so expect city noise. The staff are so great. And I love the doughnuts from Bakers Pride and the Coffee. All in All, this is a Historic Cool Place and you can't beat it. The sign out front is original neon at 100+feet and so Cool. This place opened in 1964. So respect that and be aliitle respectful and giving. It's really the memory you're making. I will be back and so fortunate to have stayed in a place 62 years old and still going and looks great. This place is also Green Friendly which is rare and works on Solar. They also offer 2 charging stations for EV. Hope this was helpful. Thanks for the memory Thunderbird Inn. See you soon. ❤️❤️❤️

Small cute, clean place. Only had 2 complaints. Need curtains and not just blinds. It's super bright in the rooms even at night. The bathroom light is on a sensor. When we showered the light would go off. The staff was super nice and helpful with any issue we had. We had a wifi issue and they fixed it immediately. We also had an ada issue but the solved the problem. Rooms were clean. Good value for the price
