About this place Scarleteen

Scarleteen is a Seattle-based nonprofit that’s been giving honest, inclusive sex education and relationship support online since 1998, reaching about five million visitors a year. It's not a bar or a restaurant, but Scarleteen is a crucial resource for LGBTQ+ travelers in Seattle, especially younger ones looking for reliable, sex-positive information without judgment. Their focus is on people aged 15 to 25, which makes them particularly helpful for youth and young adults figuring out questions about sex and relationships. As an independent, grassroots organization, Scarleteen operates primarily online at scarleteen.com. But they also serve about 5,000 people a year through direct services and in-person community work from their office on Northwest Market Street.

PNW Sex Therapy Collective is a truly safe and inclusive space. Their team of therapists is highly trained, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking support with sexuality, relationships, and intimacy, especially if they are looking for services in Spanish.

I came to the Collective during a breakup and received so much needed support from my therapist, Katarina. I knew from the first interaction with her that our sessions would be very productive. She’s attentive, warm and truly listens. There are times when she picks up on things that I would have missed and it really reminds me why therapy is so important. I also love the office location for in-person sessions, the view from the window during therapy, looking over Lake Union is very nice.

Claudia's practice offers great services that we are always happy to refer to. She is active in the mental health community and willing to share her knowledge and expertise with other providers to ensure access to quality care in our area.

Unfortunately did not have a good experience. Therapist was not understanding of needing to cancel with us giving 48 hour notice (we were 13 min late to the 48 hour notice, but keep in mind it was our first time needing to cancel). I don’t feel like our therapist dove into our issues. She just talked about theories and asked us how we felt about them. Couples therapy isn’t covered by insurance which is a bummer and a big reason why this stings so much. My husband and I are out about $1,000 after meeting with a therapist that wasn’t a good fit and wasn’t accommodating to our needs.

Great therapy group. I had a quick intake chat and was able to meet a therapist that was super down to earth. They worked really hard to understand my personal challenges and educate me and help me not feel shame on this important topic. Highly recommend PNW Sex Therapy Collective. They're such a caring and cool group!

Very appreciative of this collective, I was cynical and unsure about therapy. But after a few sessions I will say it’s worth the personal investment! The growth this space has provided me has been beneficial for not just my personal life but given me tools for my professional development as well. Well done team!
