About this place Three Dollar Cinema

Three Dollar Bill Cinema, on 12th Avenue in Seattle’s Capitol Hill, is an LGBTQ+ organization that backs queer filmmakers and artists. Think of it as a creative hub where queer people can build film projects, work with other artists, and show their films to the community. It’s a place for talking through filmmaking concepts, what you want to achieve, and where you want your project to go. You can meet other LGBTQ+ artists, learn from them, and see how film can tell all kinds of stories. If you’re a seasoned filmmaker, great. If you’re just starting to kick around ideas, that’s fine too. The vibe here is all about creative expression and supporting each other. To see what’s on, or how you can get involved, check their website: threedollarbillcinema.org.

I love the people here. Everyone is so kind and you can tell the teams behind the events spend a lot of their time devoted to film and production. SO happy to have found Three Dollar Bill Cinema!
