About this place Club David

Club David is the LGBTQ+ nightclub in Sioux Falls and, going by the listings, the only one in South Dakota. It's on West 10th Street, a block off Phillips Avenue, and opens Tuesday to Sunday from 4pm to 2am. Google reviewers give it 4.3 from about 150 reviews and mostly mention the dance floor and the staff. The group behind Parker's Bistro and DaDa Gastropub renovated the building in 2024 and 2025. It now has a kitchen serving food from 5pm to 9pm, a lower-level speakeasy, an upstairs bar with a patio, and a main floor that also hosts concerts. Pride weekend brings drag bingo and drag shows. The weekly theme nights change, so if you're going for drag, check their Facebook or Instagram first. Weekends are busiest.

The bartender Todd is extremely rude, makes derogatory comments, and expects a big tip for his poor customer service. If you want my continued business, get rid of him. I intentionally let people know not to come here because of him and his demeaning and immature behavior. This bar is also not a safe place for LGBT people to meet. I’ve had numerous experiences where I felt in possible danger or boundaries being severely crossed. The environment is hostile, cliquey, and toxic.
