Prism Community Center

Prism Community Center is the drop-in space of The Transformation Project, a trans support nonprofit founded in Sioux Falls in 2019. It opened in October 2023, and Dakota News Now called it South Dakota's only LGBTQ2S+ community center. The address is 500 North Western Avenue, Suite 300. Google lists drop-in hours on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30pm to 7:30pm and on Friday from 5pm to 9pm. Earlier listings split the evenings into youth and adult sessions, so check transformationprojectsd.org to see who each slot is for. The Transformation Project also runs Marty's Closet, a free clothing closet, and the Rainbow Run fundraiser. This is a community space, not a bar. People come for game nights and support groups.
