Hotel staff should’ve been transparent that construction starts promptly at 8am. If you’re looking for a nice vacation stay, do not come here.

I'm convinced this place is the best kept secret in South bend. I adore everyone that works here. They have a complimentary shuttle and are so gracious about picking you up and taking you places. I often have to come into town every few months or either speaking or a conference at Notre Dame - there are definitely more convenient hotels a little bit closer to Mendoza or the stadium, but I just love this place. They do free breakfast and not like bagels and cereal but eggs, bacon, oatmeal etc. they are currently renovating and I just stayed in one of the new rooms which was so cute. They have a Notre Dame theme on the third floor and St. Mary's theme on the second floor. Even before they renovated this was such a great deal and wonderful experience because of the people who work there - shout out to driver Jerry - always makes sure I get where I'm going safely!

Excellent location, easy walk to many attractions. Very friendly and informative staff. Rooms and everything was perfect.

The hotel is right next to St. Mary's college (within walking distance). The hotel staff were wonderful and very kind. There is a free shuttle that can be used for short trips into town which was super helpful. The lobby had free breakfast which includes things like eggs, potato's, a meat item, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, toast, and some baked goods. There is currently construction at the hotel in the lobby/front area but it did not cause any issues with noise or dust. The rooms are a little outdated but they seem to be getting upgraded a few at a time. Other than that the room was clean and put together. Overall great hotel for a quick stay and very nice staff.

Horrible experience at this hotel. The entire place was closed off due to construction. Kids had no where to go without being yelled at by workers. The front desk employee and general manager displayed a complete lack of professionalism. Staff are not held accountable for their actions at all and is acceptable according to the GM. The GM has zero ability to problem solve, interact with customers, and allows her employees to swear at guests.

Nice place with great access to N.D. campus. They're in the midst of a remodel. Made things cramped at check-in and breakfast. Room decor was dated, but comfortable and clean. Signage pointing to elevators could be improved in the guest hallways. Once remodel is finished, it'll be worth another look.
