Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The entire property, including the guest rooms, had a strong unpleasant odor. On the first day of our stay, housekeeping removed all of the towels from our room and failed to replace them. When we requested fresh towels later that day, only one towel was provided despite the room requiring more. Additionally, the room and laundry did not appear to have been properly cleaned, which raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying here and would advise others to consider other accommodations. WORST HOTEL EVER!! Do not stay!!

Made a room reservation via phone and was able to quickly check in once I arrived an hour later. It was the only hotel in the area on my way to Illinois that accepted pets with only a minor fee. Despite the reviews, the room I stayed at was pretty clean, no bed bugs or other bugs and the shower area was also clean and functional. Breakfast was not super outstanding but it did its job of keeping my parents and I filled for the morning. The check-out process was also very easy, just handed door cards in and that was it. As a place to only stay for the night, this place was great.

The facilities are good considering its price. The room is clean. The staffs are friendly and helpful. There is a 711 store next to the hotel. Overall, the hotel is well managed at a very reasonable price.

I strongly advise other travelers to reconsider staying at this hotel until significant improvements are made. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the property is in serious disrepair and in need of major updates. The overall condition of the hotel feels neglected, with outdated, worn-down facilities that fall far below reasonable expectations. One of the most disappointing aspects was the pool being out of service for several weeks. This was not disclosed anywhere on the hotel’s website, nor was any form of compensation or courtesy offered for the inconvenience. Lack of transparency around amenities is unacceptable and misleading for guests who factor those features into their booking decisions. The situation escalated dramatically upon entering our room. Within minutes, we discovered bed bugs between the mattress and box spring—an immediate and serious health concern. As a result, we checked out within 20 minutes of arrival. No guest should ever encounter such conditions, and this alone reflects a significant failure in basic cleanliness and maintenance standards. Beyond that, the room itself was dingy, dirty, and extremely outdated. The bed was uncomfortably hard, and the overall environment felt unclean and poorly maintained. It’s evident that both the rooms and the entire property require thorough renovation and deep cleaning. The issues didn’t end there. When I contacted the hotel to dispute the full charge for a stay we did not use, I was told a refund would be issued—but only after 7–14 days. Meanwhile, they processed the full charge immediately instead of canceling our reservation upon early checkout. This policy feels unfair and poorly handled, especially given the circumstances. To make matters worse, the two staff members I spoke with during this process were unprofessional, short, and rude. Rather than showing understanding or trying to resolve the issue constructively, they made an already frustrating situation even more unpleasant. In summary, this was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. Between the lack of transparency, unacceptable room conditions, serious health concerns, and poor customer service, I cannot recommend this hotel. Substantial improvements are needed before it can be considered a suitable place to stay.
