Hilton Garden Inn Tacoma Downtown

Great location and really nice rooms. Very clean and modern.

Rewards stay. They do not waive parking fees for Rewards stays. Due to status and weekly Hilton stays, I upgraded to a king suite on the top floor with a horrid view of a parking lot and non stop sirens. They would not let me move to another room, even with status. There was a homeless person inside riding the elevators and once alone with me, approached me asking me if I had a key card. I was then told we could not park our second car inside that night, even though they thought nothing of charging us for both cars. We did not feel safe to leave the hotel to walk to the water front so we ordered in. They advertise Happy Hour after 9pm but warn you the bar is closing at 8. The rooms are very average, and I stay in Garden Inns weekly. Lastly, as we left at check and went around the corner we drove into an active drug deal, visible from the hotel. This is not a safe hotel and will be scratched off our list of returns whether business or pleasure.

Great rooms, clean and safe. Lousy service. No complimentary breakfast even at the exorbitant prices of the rooms. Coffee was incessantly late by hours, almost noon. Noisy garbage collection hours 3am. Very cramped parking and unsafe street access. Ordering food? School lunch cafeterias in the 80s had a better selection and were on time. Conference room outlets working is a hit and miss. However, great personnel! Friendly and alert. Overall, I won't be staying at another Hilton. Too bad the exceptional personnel weren't working at better hotels.

Close was clean. The location was prime. Walkable to the downtown. Did not find the front desk to be friendly. No free onsite parking. You need to find on the roadside.

Very clean, great amenities:bar, restaurant, fireplace in lobby, secure parking with elevator straight to room floors. Receptionist was extremely friendly & helpful. Very safe location.

Really conveniently located by the bus line to Seattle. No breakfast buffet and parking was $18 a night.

I was pleasantly impressed with the quality of care and communication.

A great place to stay !

So I came up for a week from Astoria OR to spend time with my bestie. My stay had been amazing, the staff is very friendly and helpful. My first night we had to call for maintenance for some help and Mike was not only super friendly but helpful. Got it fridge going great and then he even let the bar downstairs know we were asking questions and the beast called the room to answer the questions. Madeline has been amazing checking on me via your txt service and this being my first ever hotel stay, I'm so happy I choose here. I will definitely be coming back.
