Holiday Inn Express and Suites Tacoma Downtown, an IHG Hotel

We were greeted by Hadessa at check in, she was super helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms are very clean. There is an indoor pool and a hot tub. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of items for the whole family. It's about an hour drive from Mount Rainier and 40 minutes from Seattle. This a great place to stop and rest if you have kids.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The location was convenient, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others. The reception at the front desk was wonderful. Harass was very personable and helpful. She answered all of our questions and even recommended a few places to eat.

We had a good experience staying here. The front desk employee Hadessa was really nice and accommodating. Our rooms were clean and smelled good. The toiletries products were good quality which I appreciated as well. Breakfast was good with a good variety of options. Overall good experience.

Price gouging. Booked room for 7 days and was quoted about $950 for the week. After 3 days I noticed that I was being charged over $325 a night. When I asked why the price jumped I was told it was because the hotel was near fully booked and they could charge more. Which is price gouging by definition. The hotel is standard for this brand. It isn’t worth the over $300 a night they stuck me with. I consider myself lucky to have caught this and checked out early. Recommend staying at other IHG hotels in that location.
