I love, love, love this fun, inclusive, quirky salon. Amanda has built something really special! I’m lazy with my hair and she doesn’t pressure me to come in more often, and she does a great job giving me color that can look loved in, even when I wait waaaay too long between appointments. 🙂

Amanda used to cut my hair before I moved and she was truly an amazing barber! I miss hanging out in her shop for sure. She was the best barber I’ve ever had and I’ve seriously contemplated flying back to Washington just to get my haircut!!

I was referred here by a friend and booked with Amanda. I want to clarify that this review is based solely on my experience with her, as I have not worked with any other stylists at this salon. During my first appointment, I experienced a chemical burn on my scalp from the bleach application. When I returned, I specifically requested that we avoid bleach on my scalp. Amanda assured me this would not be necessary for my root touch-up; however, the color did not fully take to all areas of my roots. Additionally, I was charged nearly double the originally quoted price for the service. After I brought this up, she agreed to honor the original quote and offered to fix the areas that did not process correctly. Because the salon is about an hour and a half away from me, scheduling a follow-up appointment was difficult. When I was initially unable to come in, I was told that waiting longer would result in too much new growth and that I would need to pay again, although she mentioned she could adjust pricing when I returned. More recently, I had to cancel an appointment about an hour in advance due to unforeseen circumstances. While I understand this is not ideal, I have consistently respected appointment times in the past or provided proper notice when canceling. Following this, Amanda declined to correct the previous issue. Overall, this has been a frustrating experience. I recommend confirming pricing, service details, and policies clearly in advance. Based on my experience, I was left with unresolved issues and additional costs, which has been especially disappointing given upcoming plans. I do want to also add Amanda is a very sweet & kind person, this whole situation just doesn’t sit right with me and I feel sharing my experience is important.

I recently got my hair done with Amanda, and I could not be happier! I got a full head weave, my hair is very long and very thin. I did notice Amanda put extra highlights on my crown and in the very front to give the illusion of fullness she is very good at what she does and takes very good care of her clients. The shop is trendy hip and cool and I cannot recommend it more!

I went in for the first time for a deluxe head spa with Amanda and had the best experience. We started with a scalp analysis then moved the to spa room- the ambiance was perfect, spa music, lights, blankets, aromatherapy… then the washing, exfoliating, massage, warm water and hot towels for your face- basically life changing. The end of the service included a blowout and some styling and my hair feels like silk. Amanda is so welcoming and friendly, and has the perfect calm energy and magic touch that made this such a great experience! Thank you 💗

Best experience ever! Taylor exceeded all my expectations. I’m very picky about my haircuts, I’m also relatively shy & awkward. But Taylor kept the conversation going effortlessly while bringing my hair back to life. I went in feeling a little anxious & left feeling like I made a new friend & have a beautiful haircut.

I had an amazing experience with Gwendolen as my stylist. She is incredibly talented, listens to what you want, and somehow delivers something even better than you imagined. She’s warm, meticulous, and genuinely cares about her clients looking and feeling their best. Every appointment with her is easy, relaxing, and you walk out feeling incredible. I can’t recommend Gwendolen enough. She’s a true pro and an absolute gem.

If you are needing an amazing hair cut you need to see Gwendolyn! She makes you feel welcomed and listens to what you are looking for. Great place for a great haircut! My barber Kidist has always done a stellar job with my haircut and it usually takes me a long time to find a great barber!
