This place has stepped up a lot recently. The pool is good and clean and a comfortable in this summer heat. The rooms are comfy and newly refurbished. Its also a pretty good value and centrally located on Busch blvd.

We drove about 7 hours from north Georgia area to come to Tampa for a few days and we decided to go to Busch gardens for two days. Since we were Already going on a cruise out of Tampa we decided to budget on our hotel, we choose this hotel because it was affordable, close to Busch gardens and the pictures on booking didn’t look bad, but whoa what a surprise we got as we arrived. We arrived about 5pm so there was sunlight still out, as we pulled into the parking lot we can see different old cars that looked abandoned, we see several of what looked like transient people walking about the complex. Red flags everywhere, however, since we were tired and just wanted to get something to eat and to bed, we decided to stay. We booked two rooms for our family and when we finally arrived at the room it was horrible, toilet was filthy, the rooms smelled of cigarettes, the floor dirty and the bed covers looked dire and dirty as well. Our door lock paper to be damaged. To tell you that we picked our stuff and left right away and booked a holiday inn near by right away. Would never again make that mistake. Only positive was the person at the counter, very friendly and accommodating and it is close to Busch gardens. Other than that, please do yourself a favor and don’t come here.

We have stayed here twice on two (2) separate occasions and have had a positive experience both times. The front desk has always been very helpful and accomodating. The rooms are basic, but clean. As other people have mentioned, this is a budget hotel, but for the price, I think it is wonderful. This is our go-to place when we are in the Tampa area.

Would not recommend to woman who travel solo or with other women. Place is sketchy. My room was dirty . Microwave was not working. Bathtub felt cheap and dirty . Bed blanket had cigarette holes . Sheets made my skin itch. At least the good thing is the ac is working good but I did not feel comfortable sleeping at night knowing my door can be barge in since the safety lock was broken and the housekeeper barging in without my consent and asking me to tip afterwards. Terrible experience and no good customer service at the people who work upfront .only convenient to stay for the cheap price but definitely would not come back here . There’s a reason why they are 2 stars hotel.
