Basic, but clean hotel in a great location for Mill Ave. bars/restaurants, ASU, and ASU football. Front desk staff is friendly and rates are a fairly good value for what you get. Pool area is decent and family-friendly.

We stayed at the Downtown Tempe location for my son’s graduation, and the location could not have been more convenient. It was close to his West 6 apartment, all of the hotspots on Mill Avenue, the ASU campus, and even within walking distance to the graduation ceremony itself. Our family reserved two rooms, and both were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The exercise room was a great way to start the day, and we also enjoyed using the pool daily during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this Sonesta to anyone visiting the area — it is both business- and family-friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere and an excellent location.

I recently stayed at the Sonesta Select Hotel in Downtown Tempe , AZ I must say that my stay was a pleasant one . Room was nice , clean , the staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. They have a pool , I did not have time to use it , however it was clean and the outdoor patio was nice . Plus , the area for breakfast was nice and they were wonderful too ! Good food and service ! It was very convenient to everything I needed in Tempe . Close proximity to airport , restaurants, and many other places including transportation for getting around. Which I used and it was terrific to get around and very inexpensive. It was a great stay at Sonesta Select Hotel in Downtown Tempe , AZ. !

My son moved in about a month ago and so far so good. The apartment is spacious and is within walking distance to anything he needs. Even his job.

I have stayed here multiple times this past year while visiting my son who attends ASU. The area can be noisy (you are in a college town), but the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the shower pressure is wonderful! The staff have always been so accommodating, even reserving enough room in the parking lot for our Uhaul trailer we were pulling a couple of times.

My Service dog and I traveled eight hours in a car and we’re so happy to find a room in The Sonesta Select Downtown Tempe room that was relaxing and clean. They gave us a room with outside access, so it was easy to take my dog out and sit and look at the beautiful grounds and pool. Perfect location to unwind! Everybody was warm and accommodating. Couldn’t be happier!
