Thank you to John for checking me in. John was extremely helpful and professional. He should be a manager, if he isn't already. Other staff was very friendly as well. Rooms were clean and spacious. Full refrigerator, electric stove, sink. Beds were comfortable. 10 min drive to Redondo beach pier. Plenty of food options in walking distance, 5min 7-11 on the corner. Plenty of free parking on premises, secure.

The only thing 5 star is location. However, this place sucks on all other criterias. Why. Lets start with customer service. Manager, had no proper training in hospitality. No customer service etiquette. No smile. No greetings. The lady behaves like she makes the call. She asks the questions ; you answer kinda behavior. There was that only black woman who runs the front desk she seems like shes near retirement and just waiting to retire. She was the only unfriendly character in that establishment. I had better interactions with the guests than talking to her. About the hotel. My first guest experience was in Chicago in Great Lakes. It was very nice. Then there was Bakersfield in May 2026. That was terrible. I took a chance with this one since it was in a nice area. But never again. I came to realize that this 'extended ' stay is another word 'tenancy'. Dont expect a hotel experience for you won't get hospitality treatments. That woman / manager was practically embodying a landlord attitude now that I think about it. I would fire her and retrain all the staff and ensure the place 'smells' somewhat pleasant too. Because that was the other issues beside the fact that this place allows a pack of dogs in one room was also striking to see. Imagine the smell and the sanitary issues thats lining the walls of the rooms and carpets. Never again. Im done with this place.
