A hotel in a great location for walking around Washington D.C.

Upgraded to a suite (King with sofa and chair). Much improved from the 2 queen beds with little room to move around.

Super awesome place to stay

Was not impressed at all by this hotel. Definitely one of the worst ones I’ve stayed at for a conference. They couldn’t even get people into their rooms by 4:00 PM when we were paying $350 per night (that’s disgraceful). Plus they have no bar and their main restaurant is closed. It was also hot at every event at the hotel because I guess they weren’t willing to pay for AC. Thermostats in the hotel rooms are completely inaccurate too. They’ll say it’s 65 degrees in the room when it’s 74 degrees and will not pump AC unless you manually turn the fans on with your AC unit. They also screw you at every turn with pricing inside the hotel.

Great location for sightseeing. We got a king room with club access, on the 12th floor. Did only use the club access once for breakfast. No complaints, but for information the wine and beer cost extra there but water and soda free. The room did face into the lobby so no window to outside witch is not ideal. But our only big issue with the room was air conditioning it was so loud, if it was on it kept us awake and if we turned it off or lowered the fan it as too cold.

Really nice hotel in the heart of Washington DC. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a good size and well laid out with space to work if required. The hotel is close to many of the tourist attractions, Fords Theatre is just down the road and a short walk to he White House, Lincoln Memorial etc. Despite it's central location there was very little traffic noise so a good night's sleep every night (even with jet lag).

Downtown most statues and parks are within walking distance.
