we were in rooms 209 and 2114 last week. Chad helped us at the front desk. he was not very familiar with the room numbers. In room 2114 the remote was very sticky and the sound on the TV did not work. it was late when we got there so i did not really care, but the next evening, the rooms did were not cleaned and there were no new towels, and the shower dispenser was empty. If i had known, i could have planned better. Someone (Chad) could have warned us: only 2 towels per room for your entire stay, bring your own soap, and dont use the tv. When we saw Chad again, we told him our concerns, and he completely ignored us and walked away. We left a note on Chads note pad, in case he was dealing with an emergency, and we still have not heard back. We asked for some compensation, but have still not heard anything regarding this. If there was some consideration, we would boost our review up. If those 3 things had not been part of our experience, i would have given this review a 3 star. the parking was adequate, the rooms were clean when we arrived, the water pressure was adequate, and it was located conveniently near where we were going.
Like I booked a room…and had a wild night..spent 146 dollars…(yes I did come in this morning ,but still had over 3 hours to be in a room a paid for…not get a room key to a already used room housekeeping was still in the room..(Mary walked down and said to the guy at front desk I am cleaning that room u should give him another room..they guy proceeded to say,kno I am help u finish…..instead of going to get a customer a different room…that was very unprofessional and very nasty…Don’t know if was because I was a younger black guy in Watertown should be treated any less than a person I am…..they have the workers scared to speak…But Mary from housekeeping kno that was wrong…even said when I was walking out of a room I was in for 15 minutes……..(if was white or brown,or from a different country as one guest said he been saying for 3weeks now….shouldn’t be discriminated ,of any such kind…the most horrible stay in my 40 years of living….believe have footage of in door cleaning room a guest checked into for a 11 am check out……if ever staying in Boston or Watertown never stay here…..
The room was 15 minutes from TD bank and the train station and some really nice restaurants. The hotel is a bit dated, but it was nice and clean. The price for a weekend night was really reasonable.
It's a solid, inexpensive, clean and well done hotel. The staff was outstanding in helpfulness, cheer and making the stay comfortable.
