Amazing hotel with tons of history! Perfect location too! My wife and I stayed here during our trip to Hollywood and Beverly Hills. It is so centrally located that we walked almost everywhere. The hotel has so much history, and there are tons of things to do in the area. Even with so many places to stay, we will probably end up staying right back here when we come back!

I was here for less than 24 hours but paid a very high price for two nights so that we could check in a little early because of an event we had and they overcharged me for two nights of valet parking at 60+ dollars a night. I have been trying to get through to them and have just given up. The first person that I got through to said they would put in the request for the valet to check the license plate to see that I didn’t leave which I didn’t because we had a driver. Our car was parked the whole time. She said they would refund me the money, but they never did. Unbelievably terrible service, it’s been impossible to get through to anyone or get any help with this. I won’t be back.

This is the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I stayed at Andaz West in Los Angeles, expecting a high standard from a Hyatt property. The room itself was excellent, but the overall experience was severely damaged by a serious valet incident. On my last day, I handed my luggage to valet staff before breakfast and also gave them my car key to retrieve my vehicle, as valet parking was the only option at $75 per day. After breakfast, I drove off and later realized my luggage was not in the trunk. I immediately returned to the hotel and found that my luggage had been mistakenly placed in another guest’s vehicle. The lobby manager initially reviewed security footage and attempted to contact the driver, but communication quickly became slow and inconsistent over the following weeks. I later followed up in person at hotel again, but progress remained unclear and delayed. More than three weeks passed without resolution, and it appeared that contact with the driver had been lost. We then had to escalate the issue to Hyatt headquarters before the claims process finally moved forward. The entire process, from late February to the end of April, was extremely slow. What was most disappointing was not just the initial mistake, but the lack of urgency, poor coordination, and unclear communication throughout the recovery and claims process. I understand errors can happen, but I paid for valet service and expected proper responsibility and follow-through from hotel. My luggage contained luxury clothing, cosmetics, medication, and essentials for relocation. The handling of this situation significantly worsened an already stressful incident. I hope Hyatt takes this feedback seriously and improves its valet accountability and crisis response process.

Do not be fooled by this hotel. They advertise low room rates, but after checkout they suddenly charge a Destination Fee of approximately $35 per night. This fee was not clearly disclosed in advance, nor were we properly informed about it before or during our stay. We were extremely surprised and disappointed by this hidden charge. Because of this experience, we will never stay at this hotel again.
