Some visitors found the front desk staff helpful and appreciated the clean rooms and quiet atmosphere. However, multiple guests reported significant issues with the hotel's condition, including outdated and dirty rooms, electrical alarms, and even mold, which they felt was unacceptable given the price.

I did not think I would be disappointed with the Seaport having grown up in Fairhaven with the Skipper Motel(formerly) down the street. Beautiful location, but the service must be brought up a few notches.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but people need to know what they’re paying for before booking here. This hotel was an absolute disaster from the moment we arrived. For THREE DAYS, electrical alarms were constantly going off throughout the building. Not once did management seem to get the situation under control. It was disruptive, annoying, and honestly concerning. Several hallways were completely dark because the lights weren’t working, leaving guests walking through pitch-black areas. Not exactly what you’d expect from a resort charging premium prices. There were tripping hazards everywhere. Rugs were thrown over uneven flooring and problem areas instead of being properly repaired. It felt more like a temporary patch job than a safe environment for guests. Accessibility was another major issue. There were handicap parking spaces and a pool lift, which makes it seem like the property is accessible, but there were no elevators and very limited options for guests with mobility issues. It felt like accessibility was an afterthought. The rooms themselves were small, outdated, and poorly maintained. The bathrooms were dirty and showed obvious signs of neglect. To top it off, the TV stand in our room was so unstable that it broke when someone lightly leaned against it. That’s not normal wear and tear—that’s a lack of maintenance. We were also part of a wedding block, yet parking was nearly impossible because another event was being hosted at the same time. Non-hotel guests filled the lot while paying guests were left driving around looking for somewhere to park. For what we paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. Between the safety concerns, maintenance issues, accessibility problems, lack of parking, and overall condition of the property, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This place needs serious renovations, better management, and a much greater focus on guest safety before charging the rates they’re currently charging.

The rooms were nice and clean, it was quiet and the morning coffee was nice and hot. Thank you I will be there again.
