Small rooms staff was great restaurant was good Knicks championship game viewing was awesome

I'll suggest the hotel provide their staff with customer service training, 1st arrived late by 4 to ensure our room would be ready. The room was not ready by 5 pm, to top it all the room smelled awful. I made reservations to the restaurant and the customer service was terrible the waiter didn't even want to approach us, While having dinner I was serve raw chicken wings, and send it back, the waiter just gave me a weird look when I mentioned it. One of the hostess came to our table while we where eating and told us we had to move, because she was accommodating a large party next to us, no excuse me ,no please , plain you have to move. And to top it all after the restaurant we tried to go to the patio to have some drinks and watch the Knicks game and they tried to deny our access even though I paid for the amenities, I had to walk to the concierge and have him walk with us to tell them we are hotel guests and it was part of the amenities the concierge had given us free drinks cards and they didn't want to take it at the restaurant or at the patio was given attitude in both places so I'm still wondering what was the point of the cards. Thank God it was a short visit, I was extremely disappointed because I had visited when the restaurant was Jalao and I was very excited and ended up very disappointed specially since I had an invited guest.

SHADY INN! My biggest issue are hidden fees not disclosed at check-in. My business here concluded earlier than planned and unused days were not refunded. The only positive experience was "Cesar" positive attitude and took the time to explain the hidden fees. Spent thousands here and couldn't get coffee before work. Bedding was uncomfortable (Futon quality mattress). Additionally, incidental fees are $75.00 daily. Not recommended--you can do better elsewhere for the money!!

If I could put zero starts I would. I had an extremely disappointing and humiliating experience at Radio Hotel during their Knicks watch parties, especially the third event on Saturday, June 13, 2026. My guest and I arrived early and were seated by staff in a couch area with an unobstructed view. Staff confirmed our party size was two and placed us there. After we had already been sitting there for over an hour, and right as we were finally about to order food, staff came over and rudely told us we needed to move because the table was apparently meant for four people. We explained multiple times that we were seated there by Radio Hotel staff and that this was not our mistake. The event organizer even acknowledged that it was the hotel’s error and told us we could stay. About 10 minutes later, the general manager came over, said he did not care, and demanded that we move anyway. What followed was completely unnecessary. Multiple staff members came over one after another, speaking to us aggressively and loudly in front of other guests. At one point, the general manager returned with another staff member and a security guard, surrounding our table and continuing to pressure and harass us to move. It felt intimidating, embarrassing, and deeply unprofessional. We were not refusing to be reasonable. We repeatedly said we would move if they provided comparable seating with an unobstructed view, especially since we had arrived early and had been seated there by their own staff. Instead, we were treated like we had done something wrong. After nearly two hours of being interrupted, harassed, and passed from staff member to staff member, we were finally moved to a comparable spot. By then, a significant portion of the event had been ruined. We were also promised two rounds of free drinks for the inconvenience, which we never received. This was not just poor organization. It was poor customer service, poor communication, and an unacceptable way to treat paying guests. I would appreciate someone from corporate or upper management reaching out to address this experience.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I booked two nights and was told at check-in that there was an issue with my reservation and room assignment. The following day, after being away from the hotel for several hours, I returned to find that my key no longer worked. I was then informed that I had been checked out of my room and that hotel staff had entered the room, removed all of my belongings, and placed them in a large bag without my knowledge or consent. To make matters worse, when my belongings were returned, my MacBook was missing. I was initially told that an investigation would need to be opened and could take days, despite the laptop still showing as being in the hotel. It was eventually located and returned, but the entire situation was incredibly stressful and should never have happened. I later reviewed my reservation confirmations and confirmed that my booking information was correct, making the situation even more frustrating. The replacement room also had issues, including non-functioning air conditioning, and interactions with front desk staff became increasingly unprofessional. At one point, staff engaged in a verbal argument with a guest rather than attempting to de-escalate the situation. What should have been a fun weekend trip turned into hours of unnecessary stress dealing with problems that were entirely avoidable. I will not be returning.

This is a very nice hotel. I have no complaints about the overall experience. I did not stay in the hotel my daughter did. The one thing I did notice about the lobby area I will comment on is that the sofas and the carpet surrounding them were dirty and needed serious attention. They were really stained. Otherwise the place was nice. We were there for the weekend of the Knicks winning the championship. The atmosphere was Electric.

It’s too dirty

They sent me an email. I replied that they had the wrong email address. They ignored that email and now I’m getting follow ups and junk mail from the hotel. They’re still ignoring my email, so I reviewed them because I’m petty and they should take care of problems instead of ignoring emails. Would not stay here a first time.

Good stay. Good value for money. Just one drawback: no desk in the room. So it was difficult to sit down and work. Also, the shower drain in my room didn't drain quickly.

The hotel's location is a bit far from the center, but just a couple of blocks away is the 181st Street subway station, where you can take a direct line to Downtown. It's quick and easy to get to. Near the hotel, there are plenty of clothing and food stores, supermarkets, and services that can help you at any time. The rooms are very clean and have good views, especially those on the higher floors, as they overlook the Bronx and offer a view of the entire city. There are other rooms that face the hotel courtyard, which isn't the most attractive view, but you can still enjoy the comfortable bed, the size of the room, the music, and the activities within the hotel, such as live shows, a restaurant, and areas to work or socialize. The reception staff is very friendly and gives you vouchers when you stay, which you can redeem for snacks and drinks depending on the length of your stay. For example, if there are two of you staying for seven days, you get 14 vouchers. An unforgettable experience, especially for our first time.
