Here’s a polished review you could post: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great experience at Radio Hotel! The guacamole and chips appetizer was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to start the meal. The cocktails were also excellent, well-made, and really complemented the food. I’ll definitely be back to enjoy both again. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for great drinks and tasty appetizers!

ETA: our final review of the hotel The hotel was such a great stay! The decor was beautiful inside and out, the patio was so spacious, the artwork toward the restrooms by the lobby was so vibrant! The staff was very helpful from the beginning and were great at clearing up any confusion/questions we had. Even when we got there too early to check in, they held onto our luggage for us while we checked out the neighborhood. Speaking of which, the neighborhood was so lively, it felt like we were still back home. The 1 and A train are walking distance, as well as so many delis, stores, coffee shops, and pharmacies! Our room was the perfect size for two of us and felt very private; couldn’t hear through walls! The shower door was a little awkward the way it opened, but nothing to complain about. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others if they find the selves in NY! *this is a review of just the restaurant/bar* Our first few nights were great, the male servers/bar tenders were so friendly and explained which drinks the vouchers covered. The third night here, we had a woman bar tender who was so rude and didn’t explain anything, expecting us to know what we wanted and staring at us with a blank expression (drink vouchers are for pre-selected drinks that seem to change every night? We tried ordering the same drinks as the previous nights and she just stood there, LITERALLY saying “No.” ….no what? Apparently they weren’t covered by the vouchers). And it seemed like she didn’t want to serve guests who had the drink vouchers (that come included with your stay, mind you), leaving us and others waiting to order as she continued to walk back and forth or to the back. We left early and back to our rooms because we did not want to continue patronizing the bar any longer.

Everything was just okay. For a hotel at that price you really can’t complain. It’s not the type of room you get if you want to sleep in and be in the middle of the city. It’s close to two train stations but everything seems far away! It’s fine. Just fine.

The hotel itself was nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were small and comfortable and so were the beds. The room was clean but could have used some updates and repairs which was not really an issues. We did have two main issues with our stay. The first was parking. The website states on-site parking which is definitely not the case. There is a public garage next to the property but was completely full with residents of the area that pay monthly and the staff there was rude. When asking where else we could park we were directly to the garage on the next street where a man very rudely told us no they only allow monthly people. We had to drive several blocks to find an open lot as there was not any street parking and most streets people were double parked. Our other issue is that on Saturday night there was an extremely large promotional party that we had no idea was happening. No notice was given to me when booking or when checking in. There were so many people you could not even get into the lobby or from the lobby to the bar across from it. The party went until 11 pm and was extremely loud. There must have been several party goers staying in the hotel as most of the night there was alit of yelling and door slamming outside our room. After the event ended we were startled awake by ambulance and police sirens and honking out front of the hotel. This wasn't just 1 or 2 cops this was dozens of police officers, multiple ambulance and a fire truck. I would like to give a better review as the hotel itself was very nice but the parking was a nightmare and should be stated correctly on the website so people know before booking. They should also tell people about large events like this as we would have chosen somewhere else to stay had we known. Had we driven up to the hotel and seen this before checking in we would have demanded a refund and went somewhere else.
