Join Quietly Queer for a Friendsgiving gathering on Saturday, November 21 from 6PM in the Sunset District of San Francisco (two blocks from the L train)!

We're getting together for a few hours of food, conversation, and community on Saturday evening. This gathering is being graciously hosted by our dear friend and QQ member Drew, whom some of you may already know, and I'll be there as your organizer to help bring everyone together.

We know that the Thanksgiving holiday doesn't always come with somewhere to go. Some queer folks may not have family nearby, may not have plans, or may simply be unable to make it home for the holiday. And while not everyone celebrates the holiday the same way, we wanted to create an opportunity to spend time together in a warmer, more welcoming setting rather than feeling like the only option is heading out to a bar. If you don't have holiday plans that evening, we'd love to have you join us!

This will be a potluck! Please let us know what you're able to bring when you RSVP so we can get a sense of what everyone is contributing. Homemade, store-bought, snacks, sides, desserts, and drinks are all welcome. No need to go overboard!

A few things to know before signing up:

This is a private home gathering, graciously hosted by Drew. We'll share the address and additional details with confirmed attendees.

Unfortunately, no pets are permitted. We know some of you may be arranging pet sitters for your pups and kittens, and we appreciate your understanding!

Space is limited, so attendance will be capped to keep the gathering comfortable and intimate within the home.

Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions when signing up.

Note that there is a small set of stairs to walk up to the house's front door.

Whether you've attended QQ events before or this will be your first, you're welcome to join us!

We're looking forward to sharing a meal, getting to know one another a little better, and making room for more moments of queer community outside of the usual nightlife spaces.
