About this place NTAHC Alice Springs
NTAHC (Northern Territory AIDS and Hepatitis Council) runs its Central Australian office from Reg Harris Lane, a laneway off Todd Mall in the middle of Alice Springs. The council was founded in 1986 as the NT AIDS Council and took its current name in 2003.
Its site lists HIV and hepatitis information and support, help getting PrEP and PEP (including for people without Medicare), peer support and referrals. It's also the most practical place in town to ask about local LGBTIQ+ networks, as there's no queer venue. Open weekdays 8:30am to 5pm, closed 12 to 1; call 08 8953 3172 first.
