Great location in the middle of everything. Clean tidy rooms. On day one let them know the toilet wouldn't stop running, 4 days later still not fixed.

Disastrous! The bass thumped until just after 2 a.m. Okay, bad luck that there was a party going on at a bar on the weekend. But what if the noise level was too high in the hallway across the hall? I had already complained around midnight; it was quite obvious that 3-4 other guests were also having a good time. A phone call from reception did at least result in the non-residents leaving room 409 after a while. Even so, it was still too loud! A second call from the friendly lady around 2:30 a.m. improved the situation somewhat. I was offered another room... NEXT DOOR! No, it's definitely not quieter there! So I lugged my luggage to reception and back? It's now 5:15 a.m., the radio/TV is still on, and I couldn't and still can't sleep. No employee bothered to assess the situation themselves. It's tricky dealing with such difficult guests, especially when alcohol (or more) is involved. But why should I have to suffer the consequences? I chose this accommodation to get some sleep. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible due to the staff's lack of initiative. I will, of course, cancel my second booked night here in a few days. It seems the Diplomat Hotel is more interested in problematic guests. Thanks for NOTHING. I've now booked an alternative, despite the rather weak Wi-Fi. The connection is somewhat better now; I know this because I stayed awake all night due to the noise from room 409 (still unchanged at 5:27 a.m.). A very disappointing experience.

As a regular guest, my advice is NEVER to stay in a room facing the main street above the tavern! The venue becomes quite at 11:20 pm, but then noisy groups gather to shout and laugh in the parking lot opposite. Cars also drive by with loud music and open windows. The doors and windows are not soundproof at all. I barely slept all night. A total nightmare.
