Red Rock Hostel

I had an amazing stay at this hostel, and a huge part of that was thanks to Marvin and Riza. Every single day, I saw them working tirelessly around the hostel - cleaning, repairing facilities, solving guests’ problems, and always being available to help whenever needed. Their dedication and attention to detail create a comfortable, welcoming, and well-maintained environment that truly feels like a home away from home. What impressed me even more was how friendly and caring they are. They regularly organize movie nights and other activities that bring guests together and create a wonderful community atmosphere. It’s clear that they genuinely care about every guest’s experience and go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Running a hostel is not easy, but Marvin and Riza do it with professionalism, kindness, and an incredible work ethic. Thanks to their hard work, staying here was an absolute pleasure. This is honestly one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and well-managed place to stay.

There was some initial confusion with the automated email recommending a useless app. Aside from that, it was a pleasant stay, much better than the very disappointing Diplomat Hotel. I cancelled my second booked night there after what happened. The lady at reception at the Red Rock Hostel was very friendly and charming.

I rarely post reviews but the care and service that Mervin and his Wife provided were far beyond expectations. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is a lovely hostel located in the center of Alice Springs. Whether you intend to stay short or long term I highly recommend this place to anyone travelling here. This place feels more like a shared house than it does a hostel and our stay was nothing short of amazing.

Mervin and his wife were more than welcoming and lovely! I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone coming to Alice. It’s clean, good location and lovely atmosphere. My boyfriend and I fell sick fell sick with food poisoning and Mervin and his wife gave us a private room, offered help and made us feel very at home! They went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and it was completely unprompted. Thanks again. All the best

A very nice, safe, and beautifully furnished hostel. It is especially recommended because of the incredibly friendly and helpful owners and staff.
