A charming hostel: swimming pool, garden, unique decor… Air conditioning in the rooms, a large kitchen, and very pleasant common areas (TV area, reading area, etc.). The staff is also very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Don't hesitate to book directly through the website to avoid their fees! P.S.: The double room with a kitchenette is really great.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in here in Australia.

Unfortunately I only stayed 1 night at this hostel, but it was friendly from the minute I arrived. The staff member on reception gave a tour round the hostel with a paper map tour round town, any places that might be of interest and how to get there. He also had discounts on local tours, but I had already booked mine through a third party. The hostel had everything you need. The kitchen was well kitted out, plenty of space to cook and store food, including fridge food. And well stocked for washing and drying any used dishes too. It had a homely feel. The pool was clean, with lots of fairy lights around the grounds after dark, it looked very pretty. The cabins were very functional and quirky. It perhaps could have benefited from an extra clean, but the spider webs were mostly under the beds, so didn't really affect me. The beds were comfortable, with controlable AC in the rooms. The bathrooms were clean, with lots of useful hooks for hanging things like towels and clean clothes. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay in Alice Springs! The lovely garden offers several spots to enjoy a meal or simply relax. The pool is a great bonus to cool off. I was the only guest in a 3-bed dorm, which made my stay even more enjoyable, and the AC worked perfectly. Everything was clean, including the kitchen, which was well equipped with everything needed. The property is just a few minutes walk from the main street and the Greyhound bus stop. I would definitely stay here again.

The best hostel I've stayed in so far in Australia. Very uniquely decorated, clean, the first clean pool of my trip, and easy communication. The kitchen has everything you need. Definitely not a party hostel. 15-minute walk to the city.

Quirky and cheap were definitely the 2 best things about it. We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the strong, hot showers. There's a lot of communal, cosy features, like the Book Room, free food in the kitchen, shared games, decently-sized kitchen, tea/coffee, etc. We stayed in the caravan which got quite cold at night, would be great if it had warmer blankets/heavier donnas (acrylic blankets do not help...). The heater helped but for sustainability, don't want to leave it on all night! Not at lot of space for luggage so it helped that we could leave things in the car. Beds etc are basic and a bit worn but there's obviously a lot of love and fun put into the set-up of different rooms, the bus, etc and it's pretty fair for the price of a hostel in Australia. The car park requires some creativity, communication and logistics to manage...The whole hostel is quite secure with both gates having a combination lock. Location is good too.

Stayed here two times, both occasions as a starting point for trips around the desert. Good value for money, relaxed atmosphere and kind staff. Recommended.

Pretty good place for the price. The garden out the back is great to relax and unwind in. Everything else is pretty average. Staff were a bit rude and charged us incorrectly twice (so make sure you do your own maths)
