The parking and extra costs ruined the stay. 35 dollars a night offsite parking 5 minute walk, with no safe access unless between 9-5. Anything after hours or weekends you have to walk up a dangerous ramp that has oncoming traffic. Hotel staff informed me was the only way in dispite and to ignore the no pedestrian access signage, I had to walk 5 minutes to the parking then up a dangerous ramp with a toddler. On top of that I payed 100 hold, which I was informed at check in my parking fee would just be taken from the hold, but when checking out got asked to pay parking again. Would not stay again due to the unsafe parking.
Thank you so much to Zita, the friendly counter staff! She generously shared nearby restaurants when she learned we were from Taiwan. 💖
$100 extra per night for a pet is extreme and I won’t be booking here again.
We attended a corporate event within walking distance from this hotel so our company used it as our base for our board members, using their meeting room the next morning for a company debrief before we all headed home. The staff were very accomodating, professional and polite. The breakfast was adequate, the rooms very comfortable and quiet , and the service first class. Whilst there is not parking at the venue, they do have an arrangement with a parking station a block away that they validate to get a cheaper rate.
The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is excellent. The hotel is located near the river and is a 5-minute walk from the main street. There is no iron in the room. I feel quite a loud vibration from the sound of the door closing in the next room.
Rooms are well furnished. Not the most spacious but efficient with most things you'd expect in a hotel room. Laundry service is paid. The 1603 bar located within is an amazing place to eat, with its Japanese themed styles.
