About this place Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney

Located at Darling Harbour on Kent Street, this 4.5-star apartment hotel offers a comfortable, upmarket base for LGBTQ+ travellers visiting Sydney. While positioned a bit further from Oxford Street's famous nightlife precinct than some other accommodation options, the location provides easy access to Sydney's broader attractions and waterfront areas. The hotel welcomes gay and lesbian guests with friendly, inclusive service. Accommodation options range from studio hotel rooms to fully self-contained studio apartments and one-bedroom apartments, making it suitable for solo travellers, couples, and small groups. Most rooms feature balconies, and many offer views toward Darling Harbour. All apartment-style accommodation comes with full kitchens, giving you the flexibility to prepare meals during your stay — a practical bonus if you want to balance dining out with cooking in. This is a solid choice if you're looking for a more polished, apartment-style experience rather than a traditional hotel setup. You'll find the amenities and facilities reflect the 4.5-star standard, and the self-catering options mean you can settle in and make yourself at home. It's particularly appealing for longer stays or if you prefer having your own kitchen and living space. The Darling Harbour location puts you near waterfront dining, shopping, and entertainment, even if you're venturing slightly further to reach Oxford Street's dedicated LGBTQ+ venues.

Excellent stay in a fantastic Sydney CBD location. The apartments are spacious, comfortable and well-appointed, with luxury fittings and SMEG appliances & everything needed for a city stay. Bonus: One of the unexpected highlights was being able to watch the Vivid fireworks from the balcony (+ gym, pool & 2 tvs) while still experiencing relatively quiet with zero construction noises (in the past, we experienced noise every Sydney trip -from Hilton to hotels high up, near Circular Quay). The staff were outstanding throughout our stay- friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and always happy to help with any request, including plant milk. Their customer service really made the experience memorable. Lisa (and the female manager who obligingly gave us a room & facilities tour on Thursday 10pm) checked us in cheerfully and gave us a lot of information. No request was too much and I loved all their suggestions! The on-site cafe San Merzano is also worth a visit, serving great coffee and convenient breakfast and lunch options without having to leave the hotel. With Town Hall, Darling Harbour, shops, restaurants and public transport all within easy walking distance, Adina Town Hall is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Sydney who wants all the facilities & proximity while not compromising on large open space or quality sleep. Highly recommended!

Rooms were clean. Lovely fresh scent as soon as you enter the foyer. The 2 bedroom apartment was great for 2 adults and 2 children with kitchenette, dining area and lounge area. Plenty of room for the children. A 7 minute walk to Darling Harbour and 10 minute walk to George Street where you can catch the tram to Circular Quay, so convenient. Great location!

Can't beat the location in the CBD and right near the train line. Request an upper floor and you will not hear the traffic. I am used to American hotels where the quality can be lacking so I really appreciate the nice carpeting and quality fabrics. Little touches make this place special like these drawer pulls.

Great stay! Recently refurbished so it’s clean with well thought out room layouts. Makes a very comfortable stay in the two bedroom for 4 pax, and the washer dryer was such a bonus. Location was also spectacular - near all the shopping in QVB and only a few tram stops away from Circular Quay. Shoutout to Lisa who was friendly and helpful throughout! Would definitely stay again!

We all had a wonderful 14-day visit there. We enjoy the location, the hotel, and the service given. Everything was top notch, and communicating via WhatsApp was really efficient. Thank you, Zach, Nathaniel, Nina, Becky, Peter, Oliver, and Maisha, for always being so accommodating. It was sad to leave, but we will surely return!

Great location: easy access to public transport and shops. But may get noisy on weekends due to a nearby police station. 🚨 Service is good. They respond to questions and requests very promptly. Will definitely stay here again. Preferably on weekdays though..
