Tahiti Pride Week
About This Event
Tahiti Pride Week is organised by Cousins Cousines, French Polynesia's LGBTQIA+ association, founded in 2007 and based at Fare Te Aroha in Papeete. The week is young: the third edition ran in October 2025, after a second in March 2024.
Expect a small, community-scale week rather than a big parade. In 2025 it opened with a photo exhibition, Fier.e.s, at the Musée de Tahiti et des Îles, and the march on Saturday 11 October went from the vice-presidency along the waterfront to the Tu Marama promenade with about 30 people, per Tahiti Infos. A tamure dance marathon closed that day, and events ran until 17 October.
The timing has moved between March and October, and the 2026 and 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
