Hotel Monterey Edelhof Sapporo

The room was clean. The bathtub was big enough to stretch out in. The walls were as thin as those in a business hotel. You could hear every conversation and every sound. However, it was quiet at night, so I was able to rest well. I think it would be difficult if there were noisy guests late at night.

Excellent location, as we enjoyed walking we just walked our way to most of our destination from the hotel. The room was quite spacious, we booked a room on the south building so it didn't have a great view but we didn't mind. Having an onsen is a plus though it is small. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The building was very clean and there were no problems. Breakfast was enjoyable, with an abundance of Hokkaido specialties. However, the front desk service was disappointing. Information sharing was insufficient, which was a shame.

We deliberately planned our trip for mid-June to avoid the crowded summer holiday season and stayed at your hotel. It was my wife and daughter's first time in Hokkaido, and my fourth time. Choosing your hotel as a base to fully enjoy the charms of Hokkaido, from souvenir shopping to conversation, was the right decision 😊. We were close to famous landmarks like the TV Tower 🗼, Odori Park, and the Clock Tower, and we also enjoyed seafood meals. Regarding the hotel itself: The room was clean and tidy, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and although I didn't have high expectations for the extra triple bed, my wife said, "It was surprisingly comfortable." It was great that we could check the crowding situation in the public bath from our room! The hot springs warmed us to the core, and the jacuzzi was wonderful! Breakfast was a delicious buffet with a wide variety of options ✨. The staff's smiles and attentiveness were superb 😊. Thank you for everything ✨. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Hokkaido!

We used this restaurant for the first meeting between our daughter and her fiancé's parents, and enjoyed a Japanese course meal. The private room we were shown to had a calm atmosphere, and we savored the food while listening to the waitress's explanations. The presentation was very elegant and beautiful. We enjoyed the meal from start to finish and were very satisfied. It's a great place for family to chat while slowly and quietly savoring the food.

The building as a whole is very beautiful.

We stayed at this hotel on the third day of our trip to Hokkaido from Osaka. We hadn't decided on accommodation until noon on the day of our stay, and we booked this hotel while looking for a place with a good breakfast. We stayed for one night from Friday, with two adults. We had a rental car, so we parked in the hotel's underground parking lot. The staff member who directed us was wonderful and provided clear instructions, which was great. Upon going up to the front desk, the check-in process was smooth, and the instructions were very easy to understand. Even though we booked the last room available, it was on the top floor with a great view, and the room itself was very nice. The bathroom in our room was clean, the public bath was spacious, and there was also a lounge, allowing us to relax completely. The next morning, we went for breakfast a little later, so there weren't many people, and we were able to choose from a wide variety of dishes, all of which I remember being delicious. It's not easy to go to Hokkaido from Kansai, but next time I go, I want to stay here every time.
