OMO7 Yokohama by Hoshino Resorts

The guest rooms have sleeping areas on both the lower and upper floors, which I think kids will love, as it feels like a secret hideout. You can see Yokohama Stadium from the rooftop, and the breeze is pleasant. The bathroom is spacious, and having a separate toilet is a plus. It would be even better if there was a large public bath or sauna though!

A really awesome hotel in Yokohama with great history. Perfect stay location to see the Yokohama Bay Stars and enjoy the food and night life!

We stayed with our dog! It's great that they allow dogs. We had a double bed room, but there was also a sofa and a separate room for the dog, which was nice! The separate toilet and bathroom were also good! However, there were stairs in the room, which I thought would be very dangerous for dogs and elderly people. Since it was on the 3rd floor, there was absolutely no view from the window. Also, the TV was at a difficult angle to see from the bed. It was a good view from the sofa. I didn't ask at check-in if the package I sent from home had arrived, but I thought it would be in the room. When I went to ask, it wasn't there. I tried to call the front desk, but there was no phone in the room. Those sending packages should definitely remember to ask at check-in. I went to the front desk to pick it up. At check-in, we were given a bandana for our dog, but it was just a regular bandana without the OMO logo, completely different from the ones everyone else was wearing in reviews. It wasn't even in a bag or anything. Was I the only one who thought it was a cheap one from a 100-yen store? I wanted one of those bandanas everyone else was wearing as a souvenir 😭 If I hadn't known, I would have just thought they gave us a bandana, but I've been checking Instagram and stuff like crazy. The room with the dog run, ball pit, treats, and dining area was great. Having dog diapers was also helpful! However, isn't the small dog run too small? Is it difficult due to space limitations? Everyone was using the larger one. It was spacious there, and the dogs seemed to be having fun running around! Also, I noticed that the hallway leading to the rooms was very dark, as others have mentioned. The human amenities were minimal, but the dog amenities were well-stocked, which was very helpful. The bowls in the room were a little inconvenient. Because they were slanted, they only held a small amount of water. A large cart might be a huge nuisance if placed at the room entrance. Since the room door opens outwards, it doesn't seem like you can leave it outside either. On my way out, I wanted to send another package by courier, so I got a shipping label to fill it out in my room, but there was no ballpoint pen. I just assumed hotels would have pens in the rooms. Please bring your own or borrow one from the front desk! I'm so grateful for hotels that allow dogs, and I would definitely like to stay there again if I have the chance! ✨✨

The staff's attentiveness is wonderful.

The guest rooms were clean and charming. I didn't use the terrace or the buffet, but I'd definitely like to try them next time.

This hotel is dog-friendly, and the facilities and services are excellent. In particular, the dog-friendly facilities are outstanding; our dog, Happy, was overjoyed and had a wonderful time. It was a great celebration for Happy's 14th birthday. We were also very happy with the staff's thoughtfulness.
