Edit Auckland Central

Two receptionists are awesome and kind. The staff who worked overnight knew our flight was delayed for 8 hours and upgraded our room for a better rest. Apart from the friendly and warm-hearted staff, the room (504) itself is new, big, clean, pretty and comfy. TV is huge and the design is adorable. It was Friday night and a bit of noise downstairs as it should be bar area but it’s definitely acceptable. I would like to stay here again next time we visit Auckland. Very good value for money and walkable distance of lots of sightseeing spot and nice cafes and restaurants.

I loved this hotel - so clean and loved that my room had its own kitchenette. The staff were always so efficient and friendly. One staff in particular- his name is AJ was so very kind to me when he walked with me - taking my luggage for me - up the steep slope from the hotel all the way to the bus terminal and my luggage was very heavy. What amazing service is that! Thank you so much 😊

Receptionist is friendly. Great location as its walking distance to everything. Downfall is you can hear the noise from outside like cars and construction nearby. . Not good for a shallow sleeper like me. I don’t know how the management can fix the noise from outside that you can. hear during sleep time.

We reserved the Edit Auckland for one night stay. We happened to arrive in Auckland sooner than we planned , We called the Hotel in the morning to check the possibility for an early check in. On the phone we were told we could check on at 12:30 We walked all the way to the hotel .. only to be received by a staff saying we never promised anything and room won't be ready by 14:00 Which is very unfair on us as guests who have arrived tired after a very early flight and were told for any early check in. Now we are stuck waiting in the lobby with an extremely non cooperative staff , claiming they never promised anything . We genuinely called and asked if it was possible and if would have not been we would have made some other arrangements but after we made all the effort to get here , the hotel refuses to give us our room at 12:30

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. I booked a room with a city view and a kitchenette, but I only got a small room without a window, just a refrigerator and a kettle. They refused my attempt to change rooms, insisting it was the one I had booked. While I didn't have any street noise without a window, the constant rumble of the elevator was a constant feature, and the room was very stuffy. The room didn't even have a wardrobe. I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel!

Great for a 3 star hotel. Central location, lots of shops nearby. Room is clean and comfortable, quiet. Wifi is good. Good TV.

Basic but adequate facilities. Central location for cafes food shops and airport transport

The housekeeping manager demonstrates strong leadership and maintains high standard.She was really helpful during my study.
