Autumn Farm

Autumn Farm is a queer guesthouse and campground at 37 Central Takaka Road in Golden Bay, about an hour from Motueka over Tākaka Hill. It has been running since 1984 and is mostly used by gay and bisexual men, though Gay Express describes it as open to other queer guests, naturists and pansexual visitors too. The whole property is clothing-optional. You can choose tent sites, dorm beds, rustic cabins or lodge rooms, all set in a three-acre garden. Facilities are shared, with composting toilets, solar hot water and an outdoor bush bath. Catered dinners cost $25 if booked ahead.
