About this place UP Babaylan
UP Babaylan is the LGBTQ+ student organisation of the University of the Philippines Diliman and one of the oldest such groups in Asia, founded in 1992 on the Quezon City campus. It runs advocacy, education and support programmes and has been a visible force in Philippine queer activism for three decades. Based at UP Diliman, it is a cornerstone of Quezon City's grassroots LGBTQ+ community.
