About this place Tapas Room Club

Tapas Room Club is a gay bar on Silom Soi 4, a Bangkok street known for its LGBTQ+ nightlife.

The place aims for a relaxed, social atmosphere with good music. The owner is often there, chatting with guests—a nice touch you don't always get.

It's part of Silom Soi 4's larger gay scene, a spot for a low-key night out with friendly people. If you’re done with sightseeing and just want to hang out, maybe meet some locals or other travelers, this is that kind of place.

Check their Facebook for current info. It's a casual gay bar, not a scene-y one, in a well-established queer neighborhood. Come for the company, stay for a comfortable evening.

Even after being renamed Banana Bar, it remains stylish, with its 90s house music and party atmosphere still intact. Unfortunately, it closes early at 2 a.m.; the prices are on the high side, but parking is convenient at Liberty Square at night for 70 baht, making it suitable for small local gatherings.

It's one of my favorite place for a great house music. It's bad that it's close down now.

It's no longer Tapas, it's Banana Bar on 4. Only the name has changed. Everything else is the same.

Holds some hip feeling and cool parties often being held here. Good small local venue.
