Connections Bar is a gay bar on Silom Soi 4 in Bangkok, right in the city’s longest-running LGBTQ+ entertainment area.
You'll find it next to The Stranger Bar, one of a few places that make Silom a popular gay destination in Southeast Asia. This bar has a friendly staff and a decent beer list. Prices are good. It’s a solid spot to start or end a night out.
Silom has been Bangkok's gay hub for a long time, with bars, clubs, and social spots for both locals and tourists. The mood is relaxed and social, a good place to grab a drink and meet people. You can easily walk between spots here, each with its own vibe.
For a low-key night, or just to get a sense of Bangkok’s gay scene, Connections is an easygoing option. Settle in for a drink, and you'll get a feel for the neighborhood's friendly atmosphere. Bangkok, being tropical, means it’s hot and humid; bars like this are usually set up to deal with that.

Service terrible. We ask 3 times for a drink. Finally after one hour od waiting And repeating said that they are closing...
Connections bar is a must visit bar when you go to bangkok. The most friendliest bar you will ever visit. A night here will make your bamgkok trip even better. Ross and EK not only make you feel welcome but make you feel like family. Do not visit bangkok and miss this place. An absolute amazing place to spend you night

A hidden gem of a bar at the corner of an alley, run by Ross and Birdy who are as warm and welcoming as family. The bar boasts an artistic vibe combined with authentic Thai snacks, making it a perfect place to meet LGBTQ+ travelers from around the world. It costs 200-300 baht per person, and while there's no parking, the atmosphere is fantastic; wheelchair users may find it slightly inconvenient. Laughter and karaoke fill the air every night, making it my must-visit first stop in Bangkok!
