Almost a 5 star Review Location was perfect with both central station and metro connection very close Even though there was a lot of activity outside the hotel we didn't get much noise We did wait a log time for check in tho Wich was to be expected since there was a concert Wich we attended. The swimming pool wasn't to big but large enough to do a few laps sauna was nice as well, gym looked very well equipped tho I didn't use it. The breakfast was good lots of different options ranging from bread yogurt, oats sweets and everything In between there also was a bottle of champagne if you like to get some morning mimosas The room was nice and spacious with a great view, only issue I had was that the grout and sealing edges in the bathroom were a bit dirty if they fix this it's gonna be 5 stars Eazy

Great location, as soon as you walk the other side of the station. Rooms and hotel overall tired. Staff uninterested.

The room was dirty, and the bathroom was unhygienic, with mold visible throughout. The hotel was very noisy, making it difficult to slep overnight. I asked to change the room, the reception changed it but the mold was an issue again in the new room, and i got the room with drinks from and empty bottles from the previous visiter. In addition, the room amenities and equipment were of very poor quality and in bad condition.

Unprecedented lack of hospitality and unfriendly behavior at the door During a sudden, very heavy rain shower, we briefly sought shelter under the canopy at the top of the stairs of this hotel. What followed was a succession of extremely unfriendly responses that I absolutely had not expected from a hotel chain like Radisson Blu. A doorman came outside immediately and ordered us to 'get lost' right away. Despite our argument that it was pouring rain, he remained angry and unyielding: we just had to go stand somewhere else. After I reported this inside at the reception, I was offered an apology. However, when we then stayed outside to wait for the shower to pass, we were sent away again. The low point came when a hotel guest intervened in the situation and also found it strange that we were not allowed to take shelter there for a moment. While we were getting into a conversation, the doorman intervened again, stating that we were not allowed to talk to hotel guests and had to leave immediately. Although a front desk employee later came to apologize politely again and indicated that the manager was not present, this experience left a very bitter taste. This aggressive and inhospitable behavior towards passers-by is something we are absolutely not used to in Antwerp. A missed opportunity for a hotel that should hold hospitality in high regard. My rating: Rooms: 3/5 (Mediaan, did not stay) Location: 3/5 (Astridplein is practical, but certainly not the most beautiful or best location in Antwerp) Service: 1/5 (Due to the unacceptable behavior of the doorman)
