The location is very central, but unfortunately I found the rooms to be below average. The lobby looks very cool, but unfortunately it's all more style than substance.

June 6, 2026 checked in at a hectic front desk Room -605- was very poor. We reported the defects: window handle was broken and no security on the 6th floor, beds and bed linen insufficient (winter duvet instead of summer duvet), air conditioning did not work in a room that was too warm, safe did not work despite the warning not to leave valuables in the room, bathroom; 1 tap was loose, 1 spotlight did not work, mold under the vanity unit and on the shower wall. Staff were indifferent and did nothing to remedy the complaints. Upon departure on June 7, 2026, we reported the complaint to the receptionist again. Our advice: do not book at Hotel De Keyzer.

Upon arrival, it was immediate chaos behind the counter. Many people with complaints about the cleaning had to come downstairs multiple times. After receiving our room, it turned out not to be clean either. The beds weren't even made. After going downstairs again to ask for a new room, there was even a line of people who had been given dirty rooms. Up to three times, in fact. Cleaners were walking through the hallways and didn't seem to be doing anything. One staff member behind the counter clearly couldn't handle the crowds. After receiving a new room, ours was fortunately fine, but not really recommended.

The room was fine and clean in itself. The shower drain wasn't draining properly and water ran into the room. A technician was supposed to have come by. I didn't notice anything. The elevator wasn't working the first morning. The air conditioning wasn't working. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent, nothing special. Otherwise, it was a great location, close to the metro, buses, and station, and close to the city center.

Very bad hotel. The deluxe room is large, but very dated and filthy in many places. Dirty stains on the carpet and wallpaper. The constant sound of rattling water pipes suggests overdue maintenance. The reception is rude and unhelpful. When I asked for some glasses in the room, I was only given 2 cardboard cups. Yet I paid for a luxury room. Fortunately, I only booked for one night; I wouldn't be able to endure a longer stay.

Parking garages everywhere nearby, right next to the beautiful station and right in the middle of shops and restaurants. We were not told upon check-in that the air conditioning in the room was not working. This turned out to be the case everywhere. I called the reception and they said that it was indeed broken. No apologies and not even any gesture of goodwill, such as offering a cold bottle of water. Furthermore, the room was dusty. Bathroom okay.
