About this place La Moon

La Moon, on Brussels’ Rue du Marché au Charbon, is a gay bar that feels like a big, chill lounge, a break from the city's usual grind.

It’s got a "cosmic" vibe, which means it’s not your typical dark, thumping club. You come here to actually talk, to sit back, or just to take a load off after walking around all day.

Brussels has plenty of gay bars and clubs, some loud, some mellow. La Moon leans way mellow. If you’re not in the mood to dance or party hard, this is your spot. The host is friendly, the place is thoughtfully put together, and it's just comfortable.

You’ll find it right in central Brussels, easy to get to no matter where you are. Best to check their social media for hours or if they’ve got anything special going on. If you’re flying solo and want to meet people, or just need a relaxed place for drinks with friends, La Moon does its own thing in the Belgian capital.

The service was amazing, attentive, and friendly… It was truly incredible. The atmosphere was great too, and the DJ had a perfect playlist! The food was pretty good as well, especially the bread—wow! I recommend it 100%!

I celebrated my birthday there, it was fantastic! Affordable prices, friendly staff, 10/10 atmosphere. And the food was great, it was superb.

Once again, keep questioning your customers instead of yourself! Personally, I'll never set foot in that "restaurant" again. Surely the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. It's inedible! How can you dare serve this kind of "food"? In response to your comment, I did indeed "eat" at your restaurant on March 5th, lamb shank with chorba and brick pastry, and it was disgusting, all for the modest sum of 38 euros. No wonder it was so awful; instead of questioning yourselves, you prefer to deny the real opinions of your customers.

The cook, a very good customer, has a very cold way of speaking to the customer, not helpful at all, and does the bare minimum. Not worth the price.

The owner is not at all welcoming. The shisha pipe falls and he makes a snide remark about replacing it – what a cheapskate! Not at all courteous and very arrogant.
