We arrived at the hotel to check in, where we were told that they did not have our reservation. After showing us the booking confirmation from Booking, we were informed that there were no rooms available. The biggest disappointment was the receptionist's approach, who showed no desire or willingness to help or offer any solution to the situation. Instead, she repeatedly insisted that we cancel the reservation ourselves, even though she was aware that this would mean we would have to pay the cancellation fees through Booking. We were additionally surprised that, despite the fact that our accommodation was not provided and that we were not staying at the hotel, they tried to charge my card for the next two days. A very unpleasant experience and extremely unprofessional attitude towards guests.
Horrible. Booked through booking, arrived at the hotel and they told us that they still had no rooms available and that we should cancel the reservation. Quite rude and arrogant receptionist. I do not recommend at all!!!!
SO RUDE! Worst customer service EVER. They are so impolite for no reason... I was shocked about the terrible manners of the receptionist. Avoid this accomodation at all costs!
The location is perfect if you need to be at the Expo! The rooms are really very small, but perfectly fine for basic sleeping and showering needs. It is noisy, though; I could easily hear my colleague in the room next to me during his phone conversation. The bathrooms could use an update. One worrying point, though: They make a copy of your passport and make a fuss about it if you object... When checking out, I did manage to get them to cross out our BSN number. They don't need that copy at all. That alone is the only reason I will never come back here.
The bathroom was a bit cramped. Otherwise, the room quality was okay for €101 a night over the Ascension Day holiday. Unfortunately, there was no refrigerator in the room. However, they kindly put ice packs for my groceries in the kitchen after I checked out. Breakfast at €22 per person was a bit steep. However, there was a wide selection: fresh rolls, scrambled eggs, bacon, cooked ham, cheese, honey, jam, and the option to cook a soft-boiled egg to your liking. After failing at it twice, I skipped it on the third day… 🤣
