Immediately after I booked, I saw all of the mentions of bedbugs and sent a nice message describing that I had just experienced an infiltration in Paris and please can I cancel. Obviously it’s infinitely more expensive to eradicate bedbugs than stay one night in a hotel room. (This hotel probably knows this because they’ve had bedbugs for years and have done nothing). I was hoping for at least a response since it was 30 mins after I booked. This hotel didn’t respond and denied my request. They don’t deserve your time or money.

I was simply walking down the street with a friend, listening to someone play the piano, when a receptionist approached us and told us our clothes were "too short" and unacceptable. He then started filming us without our consent. When I asked him to delete the video, which clearly showed our faces, he initially refused and began insulting me. After several attempts to get him to delete it, he finally did, but it's still potentially recoverable in recently deleted files. He then continued to insult me and approached me aggressively, as if he wanted to hit me. This behavior is completely unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

Racist. The manager even wanted me to do an Asian impression, asking me to make slanted eyes because my reservation stated I was from Beijing (Booking.com error?). Who does that kind of thing? My train was canceled, so I urgently needed to find a hotel to leave the next day. I booked this one on Booking.com because it had a 4.4/4 rating. I just wanted a room with air conditioning, a shower (since I didn't have any clothes because of a same-day round trip), and a charger, which I had requested in my reservation. 1 - No air conditioning. This must be the only 3-star hotel in Europe without it. In the middle of a heatwave, it was a nightmare to sleep. 2 - Shower gel in a dispenser, bright blue, with a terrible smell. I woke up scratching myself all night. It's also the first time I've ever seen a hotel with this type of shower gel. 3 - The manager only wanted to leave the charger on me for 2 hours. His charger was inefficient and incredibly slow, so I avoided using my phone as much as possible. It was the worst hotel experience of my life.
