Perfect location, just steps from the center. Clean, spacious, and quiet rooms. Wonderful garden. Friendly and professional staff. A varied and quality breakfast. It's impossible not to love this place. A beautiful historic building.
A unique and quiet house in a perfect location.
The 'Rustpunt' (Resting Place) truly lives up to its name. This hotel is located just outside the bustling city center, and as soon as you enter, you immediately experience a sense of inner peace. The monastery has a beautiful, tranquil atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and furnished in a fittingly simple monastic style. A nice detail is that you occasionally run into a monk. At the reception, there are handy flyers with excellent recommendations for nice places to eat and drink in the area. Additionally, there is ample parking (for a fee), and the courtyard is beautiful, complete with its own beehives. Honey from the garden is also for sale here, which is a very nice touch! The breakfast was fine; nothing extraordinary, but simply good. All in all, highly recommended for anyone who wants to completely recharge after a long day in Ghent.
Amazing place. I recommend it. Parking is right next door. Remember to register for the Low Emission Zone.
