About this place Decadance

Decadance is part of Ghent's famous Overpoortstraat — the city's student nightlife street, which concentrates more clubs and bars per metre than anywhere else in Belgium. The venue is not exclusively gay but runs regular LGBTQ+ nights and has an explicitly welcoming character toward Ghent's large queer student population. The student club atmosphere is distinct from the more established gay bar scene: louder, younger, more chaotic, and significantly cheaper. For LGBTQ+ visitors who are themselves students or who enjoy the specific energy of a large student club on a Friday night, Decadance provides something different from the more settled gay bars. The Overpoortstraat location is a 20-minute walk from the city centre or a short tram ride, and the street itself is worth experiencing as a cultural phenomenon — the density of student nightlife on this one street during the academic year is extraordinary.

Well, I could listen to Maxime Lany live there and the music is what my evening is all about. There is nothing suspicious about the fact that you continue to live at home with doubts about extortion and fraud at a large dancing club. Or are the major thefts now just targeted slanders no longer aimed at the heads of counterfeit hotheads. No, I feel the city's decadence and I can still somewhat restore confidence in my country by being present, if the sun and moon are after all the coins of my small country, then I must be able to feel appreciated in some way. feel and that is decadence. I did get an apparition but it was only from a succulent.

I've been here 3 nights ago with my girlfriends. Initially, we wanted just a couple of drinks, but then we decided to have dinner also. The staff are really helpful, explaing everything to you. We had the pitas, fish and beef which are a real taste of freshness, some cheesy panko coated bullets with jalapeño butlet's not forget the corn chips which were a big surprise for our taste. The flavors were incredible and everybody said that the dessert, chef’s a mess, was the best thing we’ve ever had. Good range of local wines and let’s not forget about the gin and tonic, which with the help of the super friendly staff you can customize it according to your taste! The atmosphere as a whole is a very cool and laid back vibe which makes for a real variety in crowd. I couldn’t recommend this place higher for anyone looking to hang out with friends or take a date. Such a memorable meal, we will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.
