Very friendly and accommodating staff, very nice room (though a bit small), breakfast was very good for a B&B, with a very tasty breakfast. I would gladly come back if I am ever in the area.

We slept wonderfully in beautiful surroundings. It was wonderful to wake up to the sun streaming through the reception windows during a well-prepared breakfast. We received a very warm welcome, and our four-year-old daughter felt like a princess in a castle. We'll definitely be back!

We went on a city trip to Leuven. When looking for a nice place to stay, Leuven itself was very busy. So we decided to stay just outside Leuven. And that was the best choice ever! If you enjoy the combination of history, nature, and a pleasantly bustling city, use this B&B as a base. Located on a beautiful estate of Neerijse Castle in the heart of the Doode Bemde nature reserve, the B&B is located in the old coach house. We explored Leuven on our first day and had a local dinner in the evening in a village near the B&B. The second day, after a more than excellent breakfast, we started with a walk of about 7 km in the nature reserve (departure from the B&B). We were able to leave our car on the estate. We headed back to Leuven in the afternoon. The location is perfect. The accommodation was excellent. A beautiful, spacious room with a double bed and a lovely bathroom with a bathtub. No personal welcome, but a personal welcome letter is provided. The key is waiting for you in the reception hall. It's all self-explanatory. Don't forget to write down the gate code somewhere, otherwise you might not be able to enter the estate in the evening. We took a photo of the welcome slip before we went out for dinner. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. You could easily specify how you wanted your eggs: boiled, fried, scrambled. Your coffee, tea, and juice were replenished as needed. Several rooms are adjacent to the central dining room. We had room A3. The double entrance doors create a kind of soundproofing, and we heard no noise in the morning. The room and bathroom were clean and well-stocked with Rituals products and plenty of towels. Points of interest and tips: The central dining room/lounge area looks a bit dusty. A good cleaning and some attention to the decor would be welcome. The terrace could also be enhanced with more evergreen plants and a pop of color. Will we be back? Probably. It's not only a beautiful and lovely base for a city trip to Leuven, but also centrally located for Mechelen and Brussels!

This is highly recommended. A beautiful estate with very spacious and lovely rooms. Everything is spotless and fully equipped. The service is excellent and very welcoming. I slept wonderfully in the spacious bed with soft linens. The breakfast is luxurious with real eggs, prepared à la minute. There is fruit, bread, sweet, salty, savory, and more. A truly wonderful experience.
