Zagreb Pride

Zagreb Pride is the queer-feminist, anti-fascist association that organises the city's annual Pride march (Povorka ponosa), held every June since 2002. That first march was the first Pride in a post-Yugoslav country, and it was attacked by counter-protesters. Today the march draws thousands under police protection. Outside Pride, the association does advocacy, legal and community-support work for LGBTIQ people in Croatia. Its office is on Andrije Žaje in Trešnjevka. It is not a drop-in centre, so get in touch through zagreb-pride.net before visiting.
