Jarun Lake

Jarun is Zagreb's recreation lake in the south-west of the city, busy with swimmers, rowers and summer clubs. Older listings report gay cruising in the wooded, quieter stretches away from the main beaches, mostly in the daytime and early evening in summer. We haven't verified that it's still active, and it's less established than Maksimir. The surrounding area is very public, with families, joggers and nightlife crowds. Public sex is illegal in Croatia. Stay discreet, keep to spots you can easily leave, and don't bring valuables.
