Design Metropol Hotel Prague

The Metropol Design Hotel Old Town Prague provides an outstanding base for exploring the Czech capital. Its location is truly unbeatable, situated just steps from the historic Old Town Square and all major attractions. We especially appreciated the effortless connectivity, with the central train station, metro, and tram stops all within easy walking distance, making both arrival and city navigation seamless. ​The staff were consistently courteous and professional throughout our stay, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and cozy, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. The highlight, however, was undoubtedly the private rooftop terrace, which offered breathtaking city views—a perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening wind-down. The breakfast service was functional and served its purpose well, providing a reliable start to each day. ​While the experience was overwhelmingly positive, we noted two minor areas for improvement: the lift was noticeably slow, and the hairdryer in our room was non-functional. These were small inconveniences that did not detract significantly from our trip. ​Given the superb location, high comfort levels, and excellent service, I would enthusiastically recommend this hotel to fellow travelers and will definitely choose to stay here again on future visits to Prague.

We stayed at the Design Metropol hotel Prague in mid-November 2025 for 7 days. We had an excellent stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is rich, delicious and with some different choices every day. The location in the center of the old town, on a main street, excellent. There were many attractions that we visited on foot, but there was also a metro station and many tram stops very close by. The staff was kind and helpful. We would like to especially thank Michal at the reception for the valuable information and his help with everything we asked of him. Also Tomas Basar for his informative emails. We wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the staff. If we visit beautiful Prague again, we will prefer it again.

Very nice place. Top location, we have been here for three days - all time walking. Nice and different breakfast. Cozy rooms. Not big, not small. Shiny personal and welcome reception. Manager is also good, but the view is brilliant!

Great friendly hotel in a really good position for visiting old town Prague. Amazing breakfast selection. Very clean rooms and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again

Everything was perfect, nice and always friendly staff, good bed and nice location, close to everything. good breakfast. the only negative is their wifi, so slow that it is unusable. so make sure you have enough mobile data. Will definitely stay there again.
