Radisson Blu Limfjord Hotel, Aalborg

As a well-traveled man, I have been given keys to rooms all over the world throughout my long life, from large metropolises to small dusty towns far from everything. That is why I also know what means the most: the feeling of being welcome. Not just as a guest, but as a person. I have stayed at the Radisson Blu Limfjord Hotel countless times over the years, and every time my calendar whispers: “Now it’s time to go to Aalborg again”, I know from the moment the booking is confirmed that peace awaits me. I know that my sleep will be good. I know that my dreams will be kind. There is a special warmth in the house that money cannot buy. The staff greets you with that rare blend of professionalism and human care that makes a tired traveler feel at home long before the suitcase is unpacked. So if you also dream of a good night's sleep in Aalborg, a smile at the reception and the feeling of being welcomed like family, book yourself in here. Some places offer a bed. This place offers care.

Good rooms, friendly service, nice location, but unfortunately a rather noisy street and noise at the front and back.

Really nice stay at Radisson Blu Limfjord Hotel. The rooms were clean, had a good size and contained the standard things you would expect. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff at the reception were friendly and welcoming. The hotel's biggest strength is clearly its location - perfect if you want to stay centrally and close to Jomfru Ane Gade with restaurants, bars and nightlife just around the corner. The downside is that you should avoid rooms facing Jomfru Ane Gade from Thursday to Saturday, as it can be very noisy at night. Unless of course you are out partying until 6 am. Small suggestions for improvement for the hotel: I missed wine glasses in the room, some instant coffee (there were cups and an electric kettle), and clearer information about facilities such as the fitness room and sauna. Overall 4 stars. Really good price, good service and perfect location.

Pleasant hotel with perfect location and personal service. Extremely service-oriented staff. Next door to the casino. Convenient walking distance to both the city center with lots of shopping on cozy pedestrian streets and to the harbor where things are happening all the time. Festivals and regatta. Everything within a couple of minutes walk. A tip is to always book through the hotel's website and join the club. Good prices and upgrades when available. We enjoy it here. Bar, restaurant and casino.

Friendly staff, great location easy on-site parking.

My room was so cold. And no way to adjust temperature. Breakfast was 235DKK which in my opinion is too expensive for pr person. Location is great, but very bad service. By my experience. I forgot an item in my room, and called reception 1.5 hours after check out. Told them where my item was located. When I came back to hotel to retrieve the item, they said no item was found. And cleaning was gone home for the day. And no item was found in my room. I then showed the item was still in the hotel, as there was a tracker on it. 😄 So next day they called me, and said they suddenly found the item and could send via mail for 300DKK 😆 (they should have offered to pay the postage) They could have put more effort in finding the item the same day. Instead i felt like cleaning did not report it, and maybe wanted to keep the item. But the next day they had to give it, as i had proof it was still in the hotel.

Nice hotel located beside the water. Great service ahead of the stay, as I called to ask for early check in. Parking in the basement with reasonable price. We were upgraded to a room with view of the water. So nice. The room is spacy with nice furniture. The bathroom is a bit small compared to other Radisson hotels, but the amenities are so nice. Free coffee and the in the room. If you are member of the Radisson Reward programme, there is free water in the minibar. Breakfast buffet is good and with a wide selection. Fruits, eeg and bacon, bread, pastry, cheese, juice and many other delicious choices. All in all a very nice hotel with great and so friendly staff. We would definitely come back.
