Novotel Bordeaux Centre-Ville

Great hotel! Large, clean room. Good location. Very cool air conditioning. The restaurant is great.

Wonderful experience!!!! Stayed here for a week for a scientific conference and from the moment I stepped in I was greeted warmly by Eric. He was so kind to upgrade my room to the executive suite after travelling for over a day. The room is spacious and comfy and I had an excellent view of the city. The breakfast is delicious with great variety. Also, Raphael continuously made sure to say hello and give recommendations for things to do and eat in the city. I am VERY impressed that this place seems to be run by young people who are considerate, friendly and helpful. Shout out to both these young men, Eric and Raphael for their service. This hotel is conveniently located to transportation and near downtown where you can walk but enjoy the quietness of the area. Would stay here again!

We went as a team and were delighted with the location, the professionalism of the staff, the comfort of the rooms and the quality of the breakfast.

A very youthful hotel, both in terms of the staff (kind and helpful) and the entire facility (entertainment available in the common areas, reception on the first floor). The room is spacious, but the carpeting on the floor undermines the efforts of the floor staff (who were meticulous and punctual in replacing consumables and tidying up), but the cleanliness of the floors is below par. The breakfast offered is good, offering both sweet and savory options (only minor criticisms: You can't toast your own bread; you have to request the kitchen to do it in the oven. Lack of espresso cups. Perhaps it would be better to offer pre-portioned cheese, rather than leaving it to guests, who are often unprepared for such a task.) The restaurant's cuisine is excellent value for money, the loyalty card option for discounts is excellent, and the service is youthful and informal, always available to guests. It's conveniently located near the city center, easily accessible both on foot and by tram. Overall, more than satisfactory.
