Sofitel Strasbourg Grande Île

I love this hotel. The staff is very friendly. The terrace is lovely and pleasant. Excellent meal. The new management is very efficient. Ms. W.E. I highly recommend this number one Sofitel in the world.

A lovely establishment that we always enjoy returning to. Once again, we received a warm welcome, smiles, and thoughtful touches that delighted us. Thank you to the entire reception team.

I recommend the hotel. Location is amazing, everything is in walking distance from main attractions and for those who want to do some shopping as well. Service was great, I have to particularly praise them for one incident we had with the room service which was late 1h but they decided to offer it for us.

Apparently, FaceTime on their terrace is a problem… What a shame. If they'd said it in a different tone, it would have been different! The servers, like Leny and Quentin, are always professional, smiling, and pleasant. However, their manager has always been arrogant, unpleasant, and dismissive of customers. Unfortunately, this is a recurring issue that completely ruins the experience. After years of frequenting this terrace, this will be the last time. It's truly a shame that a manager drives customers away when the rest of the team is impeccable.

I was very disappointed with my experience. We used to come to this terrace regularly, but today a waiter who is also the manager spoke to us in a particularly unpleasant manner. He felt entitled to make a comment because one of my friends was on FaceTime for barely five minutes. It's not the comment itself that's the problem, but the lack of respect shown to loyal customers. It's really a shame, especially for someone who's a regular here.

Rooms were a bit dated, but very comfortable, great service and really good breakfast. Also probably the best located hotel in Strasbourg

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Sofitel. The hotel is perfectly located to many sites, restaurants and shops. The concierge here is wonderful! I had reached out via email prior to my arrival and he arranged a wonderful massage for me with an amazing masseuse. We enjoyed drinks and a light meal in the bar and the staff was wonderful and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I will stay here again when I return to this beautiful city.

Great location, friendly staff, spacious room (we had a junior suite) that was due for an update. Everything was very clean and tidy, but you could tell that these rooms had been furnished some time ago. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay in a superb location!

We were served by Angela, a truly wonderful person. I hope she stays just as she is; she's a lovely person. I was delighted to meet her.

The service was exceptional, especially from William and Eshan and the concierge team. The hotel itself was in a great location, but some drawbacks are that the rooms are slightly outdated and really could do with an update to compete with the likes of other Sofitels such as Munich. Also the gym was very small and the parking was very expensive (though parking in Strasbourg is expensive and dodgy), but €84 for two days parking is obscene just to have some peace of mind. Overall, can’t fault the service but I would not be returning to this hotel given that there are other more affordable hotels of a similar or better quality.

Average welcome, long and unpleasant check-in and check-out. The rest was fine, but the rooms could use some updating. Excellent breakfast and impeccable service.

It scores points with its excellent service and the staff's unfailing friendliness. The top-quality Sofitel beds ensure a wonderful night's sleep. The beautifully presented breakfast is a true delight.
